The first week of school is usually a breeze. All you have to do is sit down and listen to the professors read through the green sheet, powerpoints, and whatnot. In about 40 minutes or so,after giving out lectures or ranting about the stupid CA budget cuts, they'll just dismiss you, giving us freshmeat an ample amount of time to wander the labyrinth of a campus. As of now, I'm pretty much satisfied with all my chosen professors, but I'm quite aware that in about week, they'll be giving me hell. Despite that, I'm sure that I'll still be fond of them. Each and everyone of them possesses a quality that's so strange and amusing that I actually find myself quite entertained, regardless of how mundane the class seems to be.
So far, the classes I seem to look forward to are Psychology and most of all, Hip Hop I. I never knew that dancing could make you feel so invigorated! I felt so fresh, so fly in my B-Ball shorts and Nike dunks while I popped, locked, isolated, tutted, and waved. (Haha). Me? Dance Hip Hop? I never knew that the day I dance Hip Hop would come. And as for Statistics, Asian American Studies, and English IA, I have this gut feeling that I might not like them in the near future. I'm assuming that these mentioned classes will prove to be too tedious, particularly English 1A. I feel like my writing conventions are sub-par, and in a class chock full of in-class essays and thought-provoking discussions, I am beyond uneasy. But like every human being, we live, we struggle, and we get over our problems no matter how challenging the situation may be.

The dream was always running ahead of me. To catch up, to live for a moment in unison with it, that was the miracle. (Anais Nin)
